Every penny raised goes towards services supporting families in Sutton.
£35 pays for a child to go on our summer trip
£100 trains a Home-Start volunteer, ready to go into a family home and offer practical support
£250 – or the equivalent in food – provides a joyful summer picnic for our families
£1,200 supports a family in need for a year
£1,500 will take 100 children, young people and families on the trip to the seaside
£2,500 funds an accredited Parenting programme for 12 parents
provides children with a chance to ‘play and create’
enables a mum or dad to attend a local family group for friendship and support
funds a volunteer’s first visit to a family asking for support

Get ready to bounce your way through The World’s BIGGEST and most EPIC Inflatable Obstacle Course!
The Inflatable 5k Obstacle Course is coming to Guildford on Saturday 9th May 2026 and it’s going to be Epic! The obstacles are BIGGER, BOUNCIER and BETTER than ever before! You’ll be jumping, sliding and laughing all the way to the finish line. Grab your friends, family or tackle it on your own. Lace up your trainers and get ready for the ultimate day out! Children between 5 – 15 years old must be accompanied by a paying participating adult (3:1 child:adult ratio) Unfortunately, if this is not met, you will not be able to participate at our event.

Single Entry costs from£35pp for an adult and includes a HSS T Shirt. We will do whatever we can to support you setting up a fundraising page and encouraging our supporters to sponsor you. Minimum fundraising of £100 each.

Groups of less than 10 and individuals should purchase tickets directly on the event page, making sure to take advantage of early bird prices.

You can support Home-Start Sutton when you shop online. All the major retailers are part of the scheme. e.g. a weekly online shop at Sainsburys will contribute 50p, that could be £26 over the year, it all adds up….
Easyfundraising costs you nothing and Home-Start Sutton receives a percentage of what you spend. Follow the link, once on the Easyfundraising page, register, find your shop and go. To date we have raised over £1,000. Every purchase contributes and ‘every little helps’!

The emotional, physical and psychological cost for children experiencing tragedy, hardship and neglect is immense and can last a life-time. If their parents are supported these risks are dramatically reduced.
The need for our work is acute and growing.
In England, just over 400,000 children are in the social care system at any one time. Nearly 84,000 of these children are in care.

We firmly believe that a child’s best possible start in life begins at home with their family. Unfortunately, children whose parents are struggling may miss out on the love, routine, and support essential for their development.
Each year, we find ourselves needing to ask parents and children seeking support to wait, as we lack the necessary funding to assist everyone in need. When children face serious challenges—such as illness or disability, when a mother experiences postnatal depression, when a father loses his job and falls into debt or struggles with mental health or substance abuse, or when families endure poor housing conditions or the threat of homelessness—our volunteers are eager to step in. They are dedicated to supporting these families until they regain their footing. Our goal is to connect with every child during their critical early years, ensuring they have the best foundation for their future.
