We know that continued education is empowering and want to make sure that our volunteers feel confident in all aspects of their volunteer role. So here you will not only find information about our own inhouse training but also free local training such as First Aid Courses. Upcoming New Volunteer Prep Course 

Our training program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a meaningful impact. The training consists of two components: Online learning and 3 in person sessions. All our online courses can be started as soon as you are ready.
Our in next person sessions will be on the following dates and all 3 must be attended in person to complete training. 
Wednesday  9th 10am to 1pm – Introduction and review of online Course – getting to know us – With Natalie Mulcahy Volunteer Lead
Wednesday 16th September 10am to 1pm – Understanding Play – Safeguarding and admin  – With Natalie Mulcahy Volunteer Lead
 Wednesday 23rd September 10am to 1pm  – Understanding Autism and how it may affect children – With Chair Fran Boto
Online Courses: The self-paced course will take approximately 2 hours each to complete. You can log in and complete this at your convenience from home. This must be completed before the first online session.
Course 1 : Volunteer Course Of Preparation (must be completed by session 1 of in person training 9th September)
 
Course 2 : HSUK Safeguarding & Child Protection for All  (must be completed by session 2 of in person training 16th September)
