Home-Start Sutton is pleased to share our 2020/2021 Annual Report and Accounts
Chief Executive, Judith Armstrong says “The last year has been an incredibly challenging one for the whole Home-Start Sutton family. I hope The Annual Report and Impact Report will be an interesting and informative read but words and infographics cannot fully describe or illustrate what we have all gone through and achieved in the last 18 months. The families we support, as always, have been dealing with a myriad of issues exacerbated by the impact of COVID and restrictions; their tenacity, strength, and resilience are awe-inspiring, I know I speak for all the staff when I say its a privilege to ‘walk alongside’ you all.
I am eternally grateful to all our volunteers, including the Trustee board and office volunteers, many of whom despite their own challenges really went the extra mile to help. The care, compassion and sheer hard work of all of you are some of the many reasons I love my job. And what can I say about the staff team, who have been amazing? Over 20/21, our central ‘rock’, Zena, retired after 34 years and new staff have joined us; they have very quickly become part of the family and absorbed the Home-Start ethos and ‘magic’. I am very excited to build on what we have achieved over the last year and work with partners, and supporters to reach more local families and children. “
